Our club will be celebrating another successful year at the club on Saturday, 1st December, 2012 from 6.30pm with a club function which is being catered for this year. With over 100 people attending last year, we expect numbers to be strong again this year. Please RSVP no later than Sunday 25th Nov at social tennis. Unfortunately the club is experiencing further problems with the electricity supply.

Work is being arranged to fix this ASAP - stay tuned ...

Update 15/7/2012: Power has not yet been restored. No ETA as yet.

Update 17/7/2012: Power has been restored. The club phone isn't working and will be replaced.

Update 21/7/2012: We're still having capacity problems with the power supply.

The court 3 & 4 lights will be disabled until the capacity problem can be fixed (hopefully this means we can use the rest of the lights and electrical appliances in the clubrooms without further outages).

Update 12/8/2012: A new club phone has been purchased and installed. Court 3 & 4 lights are still disabled for now.

  IMPORTANT  

The club currently does not have electricity - for the clubhouse or for lights - and this situation isn't expected to be fixed for a couple of weeks.

This means that:

• social tennis and "Fit and Health Tennis" sessions are cancelled for this week
• competition tennis that would have been played at Deer Park on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights will now be played at different locations

For competition players affected, please contact your team captain / team manager to find out the new arrangements.

The club's en tout cas courts (courts 3 & 4) will be replaced later this year with new synthetic courts.

Courts 3 & 4 will be unavailable for use from 21/5/2012, for approximately 6 weeks.

Please be sure to abide by the club's court usage rules to ensure that everyone can fairly access the courts.
